ABOUT
The Green team is the most elite team of all the Skyline cheer teams. Athletes on this team are expected to perform the highest level stunting and tumbling skills. The Green team usually consists of 13-16 athletes, competing in the Medium Varisty Division.
This team historically qualifies for the Washington State Cheerleading Championship in the tumbling division. The Green team also competes in the tumbling division at the UCA National Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World's World Wide Sports Arena. Skyline Green has been a locally competitive team since 2006 and began competing at UCA Nationals in 2010.
Green Team Prefered Tumbling Skills:
-Jumps to Backhandspring
-Standing Tuck/Roundoff Tuck
-Series tumbling pass with Tuck, Layout or Full
ABOUT
Silver is Skyline's advanced cheerleading team. Athletes on this team are expected to perform high level stunts while still learning and working towards elite stunting and advanced tumbling skills. Silver competes in WA state as a tumbling team amongst other teams in their respective division. Silver also competes at UCA Nationals in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World's, World Wide Sports Arena as a non-tumbling team.

ABOUT
​The White team is Skyline's entry level cheerleading team. This team is a great place for begining cheerleaders, or previous Youth cheerleaders, to learn basic stunt skills and to get familiar with competitive cheerleading. The White team competes at the same local competitions as Green and Silver in the non-tumbling varsity division. Every year White competes for a qualifying score, or a placement of top 50, in order to compete at the WA State Championship. White does not compete at UCA Nationals, however two members from this team will be selected as alternates for Green/Silver, and will join the teams in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World's, World Wide Sports Arena.

COMPETITION TEAMS
The Skyline Cheer program is made of three varsity competition teams- Green, Silver and White. In total, the Skyline cheer program is annually comprised of about 38-50 cheerleaders. Each team size typically varies from 12-16 athletes and depends on what the coaches deem appropriate for the potential skill level of the athletes for that year. The Skyline Cheer program has a no cut policy and utilizes every person who tries out for the teams. Athletes are placed on the competitive team appropriate for their skill level and are expected to contribute according to their abilities. All athletes are expected to Jump, Tumble, Stunt, Cheer and Dance for competition. For the advanced and elite teams, tumbling is expected. For the entry level team tumbling is not required but will be taught, and gaining skills will be expected in order to progress to higher level teams.
